Serbia's central bank started purchasing euros on the local interbank market on Friday to stem gains of the dinar versus the common currency, dealers said. The bank intervened as the dinar traded to euro at the rate of 118.14. Following euro purchase, the dinar weakened to the rate of 118.25.
